Who We Are

The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York (LeGaL) operates various legal services including a weekly walk-in legal clinic at the LGBT Community Center ( W. 13th St.) in Manhattan each Tuesday evening (excluding holidays) from p.m. No appointment is necessary, but visitors should appear prior to p.m. to have a greater likelihood of being seen. Visitors will receive a consultation with a volunteer attorney who can provide general information, guide and counsel, referrals when possible, but not direct legal representation. The clinic is free, but visitors are encouraged, if possible, to provide a donation to support the clinic's continued operation. For more data on clinics vist
