EAGLE SYD is a POP-UP. We clutch events for the Sydney fetish community throughout the year. During there will be events in May, July, September and November. The exact dates contain been annouced. Events are on Facebook. Themes will be annouced closer to the dates.

Over the first full weekend of March, Sydney turned on the rainbows and sparkles and shiny, shiny leather for their Annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. Leatherfolk and Mardi Gras history in Sydney is indelibly entwined from the first. On June 24th , A little band of Gay and Lesbians from all walks of life including Leatherfolk, gathered in what would become the first Queer and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney; Australia’s contribution to the Gay Solidarity Celebrations that sprung up as a result of the Stonewall riots. Sydney Leather Men Incorporated (SLM) is a community group dedicated to revitalizing the gay leather scene in Sydney. Founded by Mick Watson, Igor Rudar, Peter Rayner, and Raymond Van Der Zalm, SLM emerged in following extensive group consultation during the COVID lockdowns. Its mission is to create safe, inclusive spaces for gay male and male-identifying Leather Men to socialize and bond.

SLM hosts regular social events and public gatherings to boost visibility and inclusivity within the leather and fetish community.

The corporation also revived the Sydney Leather Title, selecting a new Sydney Mr Leather in March after a seven-year hiatus. In August , SLM launched the inaugural Sydney Leather Weekend, expanding it to Sydney Leather Week by

SLM operates under strict rules, including an Inclusion Policy, Conflict Resolution Policy, Okay Policy, and a Code of Conduct, ensuring a respectful and welcoming environment for all participants. In November , SLM became a registered non-profit corporation in NSW, further cementing its commitment to the community.
