Gay one-night stand events bridlington
If you had told me at the beginning of the year the earth would still be struggling through the COVID disaster in November, I would have had a tough time imaging that as reality.
I would have even been even more surprised had you told me I would no longer be living in Mexico City, but rather in Sheffield!
Life is full of surprises. Due to global circumstances, Im living in Sheffield and working alongside a vegan food business. I feel extremely fortunate to have steady employment and a place to live, its just that it has come out of the blue.
We perform what we must at times like this (has there ever been a time like this?) and Im doing my optimal in Sheffield, a urban area I have loved for a long time and with which I hold nurtured a special connection ever since I hosted my Vegan Beer Festival events here.
Of course many food businesses are closed or sometimes closed in Sheffield, but I am still managing to dish and consume. You cant hold a good FGV down!
Check out some of my foodie adventures since Ive been in Sheffield this year.
Tasty!
The photo above shows my first meal on my first nighttime back in Sheffield in July. I ordered a big comfort food bundle from Sunshi

I DON'T KNOW, maybe it’s something in the air, but when it comes to my interactions with the art world these past several years, I’ve been entity dogged by trees (which, granted, is far improved than its Django alternative, but still).
Some of you may recall Houston’s fantastic Art Guys-Tree Wedding Kerfuffle of a few seasons back, in November to be specific. Oy, carry out I remember it, because, Reader, listen, I was the Rebbe.
Earlier that year, I’d been interviewing the Guys about something else altogether when they told me about how a couple years before that, at a time when Texas politicians were lashing themselves into a righteous lather over the prospect of gay marriage (how, in the inimitable stylings of Governor Rick Perry, if you sanctioned gays marrying each other, the next thing you knew you’d have people demanding to marry their dogs), the two of them had decided to wed a tree. They insisted, tongues lodged distinctly somewhere cheekward (though it was not entirely clear how deeply), that their gesture had nothing to complete with Perry or lgbtq+ marriage or anything enjoy that, that if any

We’re waiting to direct at the on-campus uni bar. I'm in my favourite pair of stilettos and my go-to misleading lashes. It's the first night of freshers. I’ve noticed everyone in the bar is wearing trainers. Being the first one from my family to go to university I didn't get the memo: you do not wear heels to the campus bar.
I'm the last one back at the table and the conversation has turned to who we all find attractive in halls. From people’s answers it's clear that some of us in the group are homosexual. Excited to admit that I felt a vibe with a girl we met in the raise earlier, I’m taken aback when it’s my rotate. I’m immediately asked, “So what are Leeds boys like?” My eyes roll and I yet again feel angry with myself for not looking or sounding queer enough - whatever that even means.
This assumption that I only date men was one I knew too successfully. And, after that moment in the bar, the automatic assumption that I was straight carried on through my time at university. On my explore abroad year, before having a chance to appear out to my modern, middle-class friends, I was referred to as
