I really, really like the principle. It had BIG potential both story and characters, so deep! But sadly it wasn't delivered and explored enough, there were holes. And settings that they created and introduced were not used good.
The story is very good and interesting but the execution isn't. I really like Shiki's and Nano's route tho.

Enjoyable yet too bland for me, especially the characters. But surely fun to participate :3
Actually there're things that I really appreciate from this VN. But there're things that I didn't even bother to continue it too. Still, I'm pretty adoring this series, it's kind of fun to follow the story.

There's good and horrible, but more bad.
The Bad: Before you evaluate purchasing, carefully read the statements from the developer and take them into account. Although the game was presented (and was advertised) as a story with options, there are essentially none. There's one romantic interest with two possible endings. The story does have an finish, but there's no genuine choices to be made. The developer admits the game is less than originally promised, but chose to release a semi-finished product and then walked away. From the developer's statement, there's no intent to expand the story in the future.
The Good: What's there is reasonably high-quality. The story is pretty compelling, and the artwork is adv done (if unbelievable). The writing is pretty excellent, with fewer (not none) spelling and grammatical mistakes than most. The price point isn't totally unreasonable given the relative quality (don't bother with

Queer bedfellows and the queer visual novel
If one is to think about the visual novel as a genre and medium of video games, they've historically oriented around two core pillars in what they're allowed to be about: broadly put, sex and violence. While generalized to a point of meaninglessness, the shoe also fits in what codified the genre early on and what patterns it settled into, from the homicide-obsessed detective fiction to the gal game erotica, fated to oscillate between "all-ages" dating sims and explicit pornography and whatever permutation and compromise that existed between the two extremes. The cultural and social associations that have built up as a outcome of these semiotics hold rendered the medium--even more so than video games as a whole--extremely male-driven and aggressively heterosexual on both the creator and audience ends, and the perception that the majority of works in it are pornographic in world is an association that is still difficult for the genre to shed, and in many cases it isn't even attempted, as ostensibly general-audiences works still carry that distinct exploitative air. Any labor that acts counter to these stereotypes and tight def
