New Hope PrideFest takes place May 10 - 18, It always begins with the unfurling of the foot eight color Rainbow Equality flag at Starbucks in New Hope, PA. NHC and their partners host fun and educational events all week, including the famous Best Cocktail Rivalry .The parade starts in Lambertville, NJ and crosses the Delaware River into New Hope, PA with floats and marching bands. The parade is a fun-filled event with business, various vendors, food and beverages. 

Doylestown also welcomes its 5th annual Pride Festival this year on June 14 - 28, The multi-day event will main attraction a series of Motion picture Screenings, Drag Brunch, Self-acceptance Block Party, Music Time, and various pop-up events and celebrations throughout the community.

LGBTQ History

New Hope Celebrates: The NHC History archive contains hundreds of digitized images – collections of personal artifacts, papers, photographs, audiovisual recordings, and organizational records. These collections comprise unpublished material such as letters, diaries,and scrapbooks documenting the lives of Modern Hope’s LGBTQ+ population, group leaders, and local same-sex attracted legends. The Free Library of New Hope and Solebury also hosts a kiosk dedicated to NHC history (currently unavailable due to Covid).

College and Analyze Libraries: Gay is Good: An excellent list of free databases, oral history collections, media and legal documents that chronicle lgbtq+ history.
