Palm Springs Gay Men&#;s Chorus

In , the Same-sex attracted Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles presented their holiday concert in Palm Springs. After that performance, a group of local residents banded together and formed a singing group called the Caballeros, The Same-sex attracted Men’s Chorus of Palm Springs. There are still a few charter members from that group in the chorus today.

Though the name changed, the mission of the chorus remains the same: To be a chorus of male lover men, who through musical excellence, community outreach, and civic responsibility, are assigned to entertaining, inspiring, and educating the culturally diverse community in which we live.

Beyond our annual season of concert, the chorus sponsors or participates in a number of outreach events. Donations from these events help support the George Zander Memorial Anti-Bullying fund. Grants from this fund help support Male lover Straight Alliances in the Palm Springs and Desert Sands Unified School District.

The chorus continues to help its community partners by singing at hi-profile events including: Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, the AIDS Assistance Program’s Evening Under the Stars, Equality California Awards, Michael Childer’s “One N

Palm Springs Gay Men&#;s Chorus returns to its act home at the Palm Springs Art Museum Annenberg Theatre for the season with &#;Ring! Swing! Sing!&#; December , and “Defying Gravity” April , Due to popular demand PSGMC has added a 4th show for each concert on Thursday nights.
