Venice Pride, Inc. is an inclusive place where we celebrate the diversity, visibility and energy of the LGBTQ+ people and our allies.
Our History
In we joined other activists and LGBTQ+ supporters and allies to celebrate the visibility and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. In what started out as a vision to promote awareness of the Queer community, members and friends of SunCoast Metropolitan Collective Church (MCC) took the initiative and provided the support needed to host the first Venice Celebration Festival in November Due to the overwhelming help from the broader collective, we recognized the want for an ongoing presence and voice of the LGBTQ+ community.
We incorporated in as a non-profit (c) (3) organization and in developed our Strategic Prepare for to to manual our work. With your support, we plan to expand programming, build partnerships, educate and advocate &#; all with the objective of making a difference in the lives of our LGBTQ+ friends and allies in the Suncoast region of Florida. The progress that Venice Parade, Inc. has made to date would not possess been possible without the guidance, risks and vision of so many who came before us
