San Diego’s biggest celebration of diversity and inclusion is calling your name! San Diego Pride returns to Balboa Park with community resources, queer-owned businesses, and multiple entertainment zones.

Pride is more than a moment—it’s a movement. San Diego Pride continues after the parade and festival. Our registered 501c3, non-profit organization provides advocacy, group programs, and philanthropic endeavors year-round. Your participation in our events fuels this ongoing work.           This establish will be used to capture registrations for San Diego Pride 2025. The parade will be held Saturday, July 19th. Registration for the 2025 celebration is now open!

          FAQ(S):

           

          1. Can I bring additional guests to the Parade? YES! You 100% can, in evidence we encourage you to. However, we do possess shuttles that are provided to registrants only. Shuttle space is limited and we'll be in message when we reach capacity, please make other arrangements if you do hold additional guests attending with you. Additional guests will have to fill the safety and liability waiver.
          2. Will there be accommodations at the Parade? YES! We will have a shuttle with us along the parade route. If you need to ride along with us instead of marching, the shuttle will gradually move with us as we march along the route.
          3. Can I transport dogs to the Parade? YES! However, it will be an extremely scorching day on Saturday, July 20th. Take any precautions for the wellbeing and safety of your pet. 
          4. Can my dog be on the shuttle? NO! UCSD Policy prohibits pets on the shuttle, but service animals

            A weekend of celebration continued, Saturday, with what has become the largest one-day public gathering in San Diego every year. Almost 250,000 people are expected at San Diego Event events Saturday and Sunday.

            The parade down University and Sixth Avenue included contingents from police to performers of every kind. There was also representation of LGBTQ+ people and their allies from churches, people health organizations, and local bars.

            It's tradition that the march begins with the revved engines of motorcycle riders who proudly contact themselves ‘Dykes on Bikes’.

            "Joy is our birthright. It's our gift, and it’s also a weapon that we get to apply to dismantle the systems of oppression," said Kristin Flickinger, Interim Executive Director San Diego Pride.

            That oppression to which Flickinger referred, includes the Trump Administration's recent action banning transgender members of the military from continuing to serve.

            Sam Rodriguez brought his 4 year antique daughter, Knox, to the parade. They are marching with the SPARTA Parade contingent of transgender military members. Most of them are in the process of being discharged because of the Trum

            Colorful floats will soon glide through Hillcrest as part of the San Diego Pride Parade -- a time-honored tradition in America's Finest City that honors the LGBTQ+ community.

            LGBTQ+ members will be joined by allies to march along the route uptown in honor of their continued call for equity and acceptance. Those who are planning on showing their support by attending the parade can consider the following to plan their trip:

            When is the parade?

            The San Diego Pride March will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 19.

            Folks can anticipate the event to be held rain or sparkle, according to the San Diego LGBT Pride ngo organization.

            Where to park

            Pride organizers are making it easier for participants to show up by car. Free parking will be available at the Old Naval Hospital on Park Boulevard and President’s Way. Once there, visitors can take a free shuttle that will drop off passengers at the intersection of Richmond and Essex Streets.

            The shuttle service will be accessible as follows:

            • Pride Parade Route 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
