Pop icon Madonna may include recently just come out as gay, but that might not come as a surprise to some as the star has always been a trailblazer when it comes sexuality and LGBTQ issues.

Madonna, 64, posted a TikTok that has since gone viral in which she seemingly announced her sexuality in a playful video.

Posing in a dressing room at her home in a cream corset reminiscent of her iconic Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra and wide leg tracksuit pants, Madonna began the video holding up a pair of pink lace briefs.

The caption on the video reads, "if I lose I'm gay," as the singer stared intently into the camera and began scrunching up the briefs.

She then tosses them across the room as the camera cut to the briefs landing on the floor next to a waste bin.

The TikTok ends with Madonna leaning into the camera before flicking her hand above her head and walking away.

Fans flooded her comments asking whether she'd officially approach out as gay with other pundits on social media pointing out her long history of evolving views on sexuality.

That's the debate after she posted a video on her verified TikTok account.

In it, the famous singer holds a pair of what appear to be pink panties with writing on the video which states, "If I miss, I'm Gay."

Madonna then tosses the underwear towards a waste basket, misses and then gestures "Oh well."

The video comes on the heels of the 64-year-old singer being spotted locking lips with Dominican rapper and content author Tokischa, 26.

The pair are also pretty affectionate in the music video for "Hung Up on Tokischa," which is a remix of Madonna's 2005 free "Hung Up."

Madonna has extended been viewed as an ally of the Homosexual community.

During an interview with The Advocate in 1991, Madonna said "I believe everybody has a fluid nature."

Madonna baffles the internet with 'I'm Gay' TikTok video

A viral video of male lover icon Madonna appearing to suggest that she is gay herself has taken the internet by storm. 

In a video posted on the singer’s TikTok account Sunday, she holds up a pair of pink underwear next to the caption, “If I Long for, I’m Gay!” She tries to chuck the underwear in a trash can — and misses — before the video cuts to her dramatically turning away from the camera. 

After racking up millions of views, Madonna became the No. 1 most searched topic on Google in the United States at one point Monday. Social media buzzed with reactions. 

“Did I just witness Madonna coming out, good for her,” one of the top comments on the video says, followed by, “Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades my dudes” and “Her PR team is freaking out.”

The well-known ally of the LGBTQ collective and mother of six has only been in public long-term relationships with men, including director Guy Ritchie and actor Sean Penn. But she sparked dating rumors after she recently kissed bisexual rapper Tokischa in the front row of a Modern York Fashion Week display. They also kissed at a New York Town Pride concert

So, I was just listening to Kylie on the radio - or at least I thought I was, but it turned out to be Madonna. And it got me thinking that while I know they’re both gay icons, I don’t know why. Aside from them both creature female pop singers they don’t seem to contain much in common, so what is it? Why Kylie and Madonna and not say, Annie Lennox (or is she and I’m just ill-informed?)

Judy Garland was a gay representative, what about Julie Andrews? Or Shirley MacLaine? What are the common factors, if any?

Seriously, for women appealing to gay men it seems to be those song-and-dance performers with a distinctive showbiz flair and a strong confident yet feminine persona. Bonus points if they’ve played one or more characters which hint at an underlying sweet emotional vulnerability underneath the kickass exterior.

For men who appeal to gay men…no, I’m going with “fabulosity” again.

If I can edge further out on this limb before someone saws it off, lesbian icons seem to once again be those talented performers who are confident in who they are. The icons don’t have to be lesbians themselves, although they often are,
