Studies hold suggested that a rapid increase in physicians does not necessarily change an urban-rural inequity in their distribution. However, it is unknown whether an insufficient supply of physicians worsens an inequity. Spatial match and attraction-repulsion hypotheses were applied to the geographic distribution of physicians during a time of insufficient physician supply in Japan. Trends of physician distribution as well as urban-rural physician flow were compared using Hiroshima Prefecture which had the lowest multiply in physician-to-population ratios between and (%), and Nagasaki Prefecture where the raise was one of the highest (%) among the 47 Japanese prefectures. The Gini coefficient of physicians compared with population in Hiroshima increased by %. Movement toward inequity was greater in Hiroshima compared with Nagasaki where the increase was %. Approximately physicians or % moved from rural to urban locations in Hiroshima compared with (%) for Nagasaki (p=). In contrast, (%) urban ph

Will it go boom today, the last of the “Big Bombs”, Mk, B
The Mk was indeed a large bomb. It was designed as a “Bunker Buster” with surface detonation. The envisioned targets were the soviet CnC centers deep underground at Chekhov/Sharapovo, south of Moscow.
The Physics Package was a W53 with a 9 MT yield. Two variants of the Mk were made, (designations changed to b53 in ) the BY1 and BY2. The BY1 was a “dirty weapon”, utilizing a U secondary casing. The BY1 was a “clean weapon” with a non-fissionable head or tungsten secondary casing. The W53 was also used in the Titan II and B Hustler. Carriers for the B53 were the B, B, B, B-2, XB and finally the Titan II. The B had the biggest problems with the weapon as the aerodynamics of the bomb bay caused significant issues. On one drop, the pilot chute fouled on the bomb bay door.
This was not a tiny weapon, The weapon was stored on it’s “clip” and trolly, as shown. When it was loaded on a carrier, the crew only had to hoist the weapon up and attach the 4 bolts in the bomb bay, and the trailing stabilizer (?), and plug the system into the carrier aircraft.
While the casing was immense , the physics pac
Very good. Size x Inches. Recording one of the most significant moments in the 20th century, this is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 'Special Strike Map' of Kyushu, Japan, featuring manuscript notations tracing the inbound flight path of Bockscar during 'Fat Man' atomic bombing attack on Nagasaki, Japan, on August 9, This map was likely used by Bockscar 's in-flight navigator James Van Pelt ( - ) to redirect the mission from the primary objective, Kokura, to the secondary target, Nagasaki. Authenticity, Provenance, and Assumptions Although we firmly believe the blueprint to be Bockscar 's in-flight map, with manuscript annotation by navigator James Van Pelt, it has no corroborating documentation - as is consistent with the post-operation coverup. Nonetheless, as a 'Restricted' 'Special Strike Map' issued shortly before the bombing, it represents the most up to date military mapping of Kyushu available to in-flight navigators. The guide, with its multiple manuscript flight paths, generally obeying major railroads, is consistent with the ambiguity of re-structuring the goal and flight-path mid-mission over antagonistic territory, with consideration given
